My name is Nadia, and welcome to my blog!
I have enjoyed the ritual of afternoon tea since I was a little girl. Having grown up living with my grandmother, afternoon tea was a regular occurrence. Often I would come home from school to find a table laden with freshly baked scones, sandwiches, a plate of beautifully decorated cupcakes and a pot of hot tea. In fact my grandmothers scones were so popular that our family doctor would often request that she bring him a batch topped with strawberry jam and a dollop of fresh cream. Afternoon tea has always been an important tradition in my family, and it is something that I am very passionate about. I believe that there is nothing better than being seated in an elegant setting, at a table with beautiful crockery and linen, a pot of freshly brewed tea and three tiers of decadent sweet and savoury treats. Having been to so many high tea venues, I figured that it was time to start sharing my experiences. I have created this blog with the intent of sharing my love of high tea with you. The primary focus of this blog is to review high tea venues in Perth, W.A. However I will also be adding reviews for venues outside of W.A.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. Hopefully you will find my reviews helpful when you are planning your next high tea experience.

  2. Growing up, my mother gave my sisters and me all our own tea sets. Then I did not pay attention to tea for years. However, I recently began to love it. Having high tea in England was one of the best moments of my life. I hope to do it more in the future. All of that is to say that I really like your blog!
